COMPUTERS
I was first introduced to Computers in the early 80's by a friend of mine who's father sold the famous Commodore 64. A machine i would get for myself around 1984 with a 5.25" disc drive. At first i just used it for playing games, but when i started copying games from other friends with the C64 i discovered intros. Intro was something the guys who cracked the game would put in the beginning before the game started. Usually made up with a scroller with text and a small logo of their crack name and sometimes a small music piece. One of the first groups that cracked games and made these intros where 1001 Cracking Crew and Dynamic Duo. I was very facinated by these intros. And it wasn't long before people started making demos which was the same as the intros but just larger and better!! All this got me to start an own crew (picture). We didn't have any skills then, but later in 1988 we joined forces with another group from my town. We formed the group in my basement (picture) and after checking out my record collection we named ourselves Full Force. At this time i had also bought an Amiga 500. At the time a very high quality machine. I loved the soundtracker (listen) which i made a few tracks on (listen), not the greatest stuff but at least we used one of my songs on our first Amiga demo. We had best success on the C64 demo scene, but i was too focused on the Amiga so i rarely did anything else than write scrollers on the C64...but i was very good at it :-). In the summer of 1990 we arranged our own copy party (picture) in Bergen (picture). I can't remember how many who came but it must have been around 400-500 people from all over the world. Around 1992 the group where dead and most of the demo scene too, but the C64/Amiga years where the best time of my life and i'm glad to have been a part of the early computer scene.
